What an off-airport reservation includes
An off-airport space can be at a hotel or another independently operated facility. The reservation may include a shuttle, require a separately arranged ride or reveal the final location after booking. Read the selected offer instead of assuming all products work alike.
At least one reviewed AUS listing has no shuttle. If you choose a no-transfer product, price a suitable ride in both directions and check the collection procedure.

Allow time beyond the drive
Add time for finding the entrance, checking in, parking, moving luggage and waiting for the transfer. A listed drive time is only one part of the journey. Plan backward from the airline’s requested terminal arrival time, not from the flight departure time.

Know how to return to the vehicle
Keep the pickup instructions and provider contact details available after landing. Some transfers operate on request; others follow a timetable. Check whether the pickup point differs from the drop-off point and allow time to collect checked baggage.
If the return changes, contact the parking provider promptly. Ask about extra-time charges and transfer availability. The airport’s passenger pickup lanes may have different rules from the hotel shuttle meeting point.
